Meet 9.55am at The Iron Bridge

Dear all,

What happened to those cold but crisp and bright January mornings? I was hoping to get away from being hampered by the soggy conditions that we endured last year but the weather was having none of it!

We had planned to plant some hedge whips along a section of the cattle fields, but the ground was frozen. Hedge laying was still a possibility and although we had a snowfall overnight the local forecast was for a dry few hours in the morning. However, the snow turned to rain and it persisted.

So with a heavy heart we decamped to the café. What's that saying ….. Every cloud …..
